“The Lone Ranger” – During The Penn State Chaos… One Student Stood Up for What Was Right…Why was he The Only One?

November 12, 2011

We were all saddened by the events this week at Penn State, but that sadness was only deepened by the crazy reaction Penn State students had after the firing of Joe Paterno.  Their reaction sparked a riot, when in reality they should have been outraged at the cover-up, that led to many innocent at risk youth, being systematically sexually assaulted on and around the Penn State campus, under their very nose, while the administration turned a blind eye.  In this case Apathy equaled Approval….   That is not to say that all Penn State students participated in the riot.  Many were disgusted at the whole situation….  Here is just one Example of a yet unidentified Penn State Student, standing up for what is right, in light of the revelations of that day. I honestly don’t know why this video hasn’t gone viral…

Are you saying there were 43,999 rioters and only 1 guy against them?

Oh wait, you say one thing in your head line and something else entirely in your post….

    >>they should have been outraged at the cover-up,

Me, I’m outraged at the rush to judgment by the internet rioters who are condemning Paterno based on imagined and false information

Even though physically raping a 10 year old is more despicable than cyber-raping a 90 year old, let’s also compare Paterno’s possible error of omission with the cyber-mob’s error of commission.

Yes, it is possible that Paterno is the cad that many people think he is, but at this point there are insufficient public facts to draw any reasonable conclusions

    Insufficient public facts?

I think the Grand Jury’s findings to be more than adequate to at MINIMUM terminate Joe Paterno.
